| I feel obligated to review these because I made reference to the Isotoner Velour PillowStep Clog Women's Slippers (not by name) in another review of slippers by a different maker. These slippers are beautiful in my opinion and I've had two pairs in the past 12 months. The key for the 3 star review is the 2 pairs in 12 months because the first pair wore out. I wear slippers often with light socks and never outside of my carpeted home. My living area is very small and I don't have to walk far between rooms. After only a few weeks, each pair was stretched, worn and the PillowStep was severely deflated. Arch support now barely exists in the second pair which replaced the first less than 2 months ago. I'm not one to discard goods which may be used by another, but the first pair was so worn out in the year, that they unfortunately were buried. I've rated these three stars because the slippers are really lovely and soft, and despite them repeatedly slipping off my feet, I'm attracted by the print and texture of the velour. They really do look great until they deteriorate with age. The print slippers have a solid black interior and black edging. They fit true to size but stretch out very quickly. |
